Learn to teach Basic Life Support – both Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and use of an AED!

The Basic Life Support Instructor course is a 16 hour program designed to teach candidates the basics of adult learning, presentation methods, and classroom dynamics in order to prepare them to teach CPR and AED use to a variety of audiences. This course is recommended for those who will eventually go on to teach their own groups bystander or professional CPR/AED. Common participants include ambulance, police, and fire department training officers, long term care staff developers, and other training coordinators. Attendees will receive instructor credentialing through the American Heart Association. Participants successfully completing the program can teach this version of the CPR program to NJ EMT's for 1 elective CEU. |
