Training Center Manager® is a top-of-the-line management package specially designed for organizations running training programs. While it can be used for any training purpose, it has features specific for those agencies running American Heart Association (AHA)CPR, ACLS, and PALS courses, American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) health and safety programs, Medic First Aid emergency care classes, Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI) programs,National Safety Council training courses, and EMS Safety Services (ESS) trainings. We believe it is the only program on the market capable of handling the technical details of all six agencies.

What can TCM do?

 

TCM has a variety of very helpful functions. It was designed by training center coordinators for training center coordinators. Here is a quick list of features:

Certificate Printing: TCM can print on to proof-of-training certificates for emergency care programs from the American Heart Association (AHA), American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI), Medic First Aid (MFA) and the National Safety Council (NSC), EMS Safety Services (ESS) and Emergency Care and Safety Institute/American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (ECSI/AAOS). We don't believe there is any other software product that can accommodate certificates for so many organizations. If you run training from more than one accrediting agency, you will appreciate this feature. This function will by itself save you hours of time typing and lining up templates or pecking at a typewriter to print certificates. It can also print a generic 8 1/2" by 11" certificates of completion with your agency's name on it.

 

 

 

 

Data Exchange with Instructors: Give instructors the free Training Center Instructor program (click here for details) and they can begin emailing you course data that you can seamlessly import to Training Center Manager Versions of the same release (TCIv4 for TCMv4, etc).  Imagine - no more data entry, trying to figure out unreadable rosters, and/or missing student sheets.  A simple import process and you are ready to print the course data that arrived in your email box just moments ago!

 

 

 

Course Tracking: Enter the data once, and TCM takes it from there. You can register individuals for your courses by typing them in as they call, or by inputting data from paper registration forms. After the course, simply delete those who did not attend, and you can print a professional-looking roster from this screen with a few mouse clicks.

 

 

 

Student Confirmations: Our interviews with training center coordinators show that some programs have a no-show rate of 10% - 80%! Many of these students miss the class simply because they write down the wrong day or register so early that they forget about the class. TCM allows you (in seconds) to confirm the student's attendance at the program by sending them either a printed reminder or an email reminder. You can also send a coordinator a reminder for a class booked for a group when you do not know the names of the course participants (such as a CPR program for a local corporation or a CEU/CME course for a fire dept).

 

 

 

Student Expirations: Wouldn't it be great to be able to remind students when their credentials are about to expire (and to come back to you for retraining!)? Now you can without the hassle of pouring through old rosters or endless addressing of envelopes. The Student Expiration Reminder feature of TCM will allow you to send a printed reminder or an email reminder to let students know that they are due for retraining. Your training center's information will also be conspicuously posted on the bottom of the notification as a great source for this educational program.

 

 

 

Instructor Tracking: One of the most difficult and time-consuming parts of running a training center is making sure your instructors are properly credentialed. There are always a few instructors who require monitoring, updating, or retraining. TCM keeps all of these records integrated in one database for you. A few mouse clicks will give you a complete profile on an instructor including his/her basic information (name, address, phone, etc), teaching credentials (ASHI instructor, ACLS instructor, etc) and monitoring/update history. You can also print these profiles and keep them in a binder when you expect your AHA Quality Assurance audit.

 

 

 

Reports: How many people did your center train in Healthcare Provider CPR last year? How many of those were taught by each instructor? What was the total activity of one particular instructor for your training center, including CPR, First Aid, and ACLS programs? You can tell in two or three mouse clicks with Training Center Manager®. Your year-end reporting to your boss, administrator, or AHA ECC representative was never easier.

Training Center Manager® is sold as shareware - it costs you nothing to try it 45 times (You can boot the program 45 times. We estimate that this will last you 20-30 days. After this period, TCM stops functioning until you register it).

Training Center Manager® is $249.95 - updates and technical support is usually billed at $75.00 per year.

You can purchase TCM in multiple license agreements at a reduced cost for your training sites.
