First Aid Instructor
Training
First
aid courses deal with more common emergencies such
as bleeding, broken bones, seizures, and burns.
Proper
management of these situations early can reduce
morbidity
and shorten recovery times.
The First Aid Instructor
program is a development session for
teaching standard/basic first aid. The focus of the
course is on the
goals of the bystander first aid provider and lay
treatment of
emergencies. Successful completion of this program
awards the
student an American Safety and Health Instructorship
which is valid for
three years, and allows him/her to award ASHI first
aid course
completion cards.
